Well been away for a bit, busy with uni assignments. Handed in my second to last today, a comparison of cityscapes and landscapes. Here are a few of my favourites from my submission. Let's hope my tutor likes them too!
I turn my head away from my beloved beaches long enough to capture something a little different for me, but still interesting. I love the rolling hills here on the way to Cunningham's Gap. ![]() Oddly enough, I was barely out of Brisbane (Boonah bound) when I started to get a feel for the great Aussie outback. Man I love my polarising filter. That really does represent the harsh Aussie sun at its best. ![]() Much more in my comfort zone now, I managed to look up and see that the architecture is far more interesting at this angle. ![]() ![]() Got my final portfolio due in two weeks - going to be spending all my time at the beach between now and then (my subject for my portfolio). Fingers crossed the weather and obliges, with big swells in the surf, and clouds that are aesthetically appealing. Cheers Jane

These are really very nice. I absolutely love the second one. The sky is so deep and blue. Good luck with your endeavor. It looks to me as if you're off to a smashing start.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
@FoG, the D90 is just wonderful, and I love it to bits. Haven't had any problems with it at all, other than learning what every single feature does! @shmelly, thank you so much. I haven't been to the Alice since about '83, and all I remember now was the bitter cold and a near case of frostbite from camping out at the base of Ayers Rock. My parents still live in the Territory, out on a community. I will have to make the time to go and visit again soon.! Thanks for your comments, they are so encouraging! Jane!
