Default Seagulls and Pelicans

These guys were all over the place on the Santa Barbara Pier. Hope you enjoy them. PP was a little crop and a color saturation boost.

These guys were fighting over some fish guts a fisherman had thrown to them. I thought it was pretty funny unless you're the fish.

Friends again? I dunno...

This one's a little out of focus but, I liked the proximity of the gull to the sign...

Thanks for looking and I always like your feedback and comments.

love the colour of the water in the first one and the birds fighting for a crumb is captured really well...love them all but it makes me yearn for the ocean.

I have seen gulls haggling over fish guts many times on the Santa Cruz pier where I used to fish as a young teen. It is certainly an amusing sight. It also reminds me of "Finding Nemo" (have to watch it....4 kids)......"mine.....mine.....mine".

Isn't Santa Barbara just a great city? I'm so thankful the fire is out! I love the pelican shot. The gull in the back looks like a mom urging the two of them to make up as in "Now tell your brother you're sorry".
Looks like a fun trip!

LOL, too funny Patrick, that was a great movie. The seagulls in that movie really captured the real deal's personality. Enjoy it!

Glad you enjoyed them, it kind of makes you wonder what they're thinking.

Hi Lindy, yes Santa Barbara is a great place. My daughter's school was evacuated 2 days before her graduation. That's twice in the last year she had to leave school due to a fire. I'm glad she's graduated finally. LOL, You're right, the gull does have that appearance. Glad you liked them and thanks for looking.
