Default Venice Italy Anyone?

I just got back from a 2 and a half week trip to Italy. I'm sorting through about 1400 pictures taken during the trip. Here's two I wanted to share from Venice.

I only had a really tiny tripod to take this one with. Thank goodness for image stabilized lenses.

I like this one better in B&W for some reason, even though the colors from the blue sky and red bricks really pop.

I'll post more as I work my way through them. Thanks for looking.

I am jealous...2 1/2 weeks in Italy! Nice photos. I like the first one of the plaza at night. Keep them coming.

Thanks pnjr - I would have to say the night shot is my favorite too. Plus there were so many people here during the day...it was nice to see it nearly empty in the early evening.

Thanks for your comments. The trip was wonderful, my second time in Venice, but my wife's first. I didn't get any good shots of the awesome food or ice cream we had though.

Thanks you two. I think the first one is destined for a spot on one of my walls.
