Default On the wild side

I have done very little if any staged photography under controlled conditions. I still enjoy finding things to shoot which are found in their own environment. On lunch break, I drove about five miles down the road and parked in a country church parking lot and walked along the side of the road for about 100 yards and returned up the other side back to the car and then back to work. Here's what I found today.

Here is a rock wall with moss growing on it......part of the church parking lot.

A more elegant presentation of the white wildflowers

A flowering bush in a person's yard along the roadside directly across the street from where I parked. Hope you enjoyed my short little jaunt!

Patrick, that is exactl what I did last Sunday. I took a short drive in my lunch break and came back with the wall picture which is similar to your first capture. Love the texture and the nice greenery of the moss. The flower clusters are so clear and sharp. The little posy of daisies being my favourite here. And the last one is just great contrast between the green and white. Super set Patrick.

Jake..

Patrick, you have a good eye for an opportunity, and have presented four simple yet emtremely effective pictures. A wall with moss, a beautiful sight, taken for granted by most people most of the time. Two wild flower selections and then a single white flower.
Colours, tones, shapes and shadows are true to the likeness, no need for whistles and bells with these pictures, they stand alone with no need of special support or execesive editing, well done

Thanks for stopping by. We are being threatened by rain all week long, so I wanted to get and capture something lest I be inside the store all week long pulling my hair out. It is always amazing to see what you can find. It has to be somewhat decent as I don't have the software or the time to use it for post processing. See you next time

Patrick, thanks for taking me to lunch! Just stopping somewhere and photographing what's available is a great exercise to expand creativity and one that I ought to do more often. These are nicely done and I've enjoyed looking at them.
