Lonely Boat

I took this a few weeks ago in Portofino. Obviously I've tweaked the color a bit and added some noise, but it turned out to be one of my faves from the trip.

This is a very nice capture NewGirl. Looks like a nice place. I like the shadows in the boat too.

Hey newgirl , nice shot , at first I hadnt scrolled down far enough and couldnt see the boat and was then trying to figure yr title out (senior member moment ) but once the silly git operating the computer worked it out i liked it a lot , that little bit of another bit of the boat is a little distracting maybe you could crop it out and complete yr perfect little shot . Al the best

Portofino. Ahhhhhhh. The boats of Liguria are so photographable! I love the way your boat points to the distant mountains. Makes you want to just sail away! BTW I keep asking folks in Italy to be on the lookout for my heart. I left it in Cinque Terre in 2004. If you see it, let me know!

Thank you for pointing that out! I can't believe I hadn't noticed that before. Went back and cropped that out.

Believe me its so easy to do , I quite often am that intent on looking at what I thought was the subject in an image I miss something like this then the minute I post it somebody will politely ask me about the huge black square in the corner oh uuuummmm! Great image all the same , All the best .
