Default My first portrait shoot

My mate Marcus asked me to take some photos for his website and press kit for an upcoming tour. He's an outstanding folk musician and fine human being. Marcus plays a lot of obscure folk instruments, so I thought I'd take him up to my favourite derelict farmhouse. We experimented a bit and were both pleased with the results - for a first shoot anyway. I'm happy that I really nailed something of him in these. I'm really looking forward to shooting him surrounded by all his instruments at home next week.

Thanks for looking.

These do not look like first attempts Elephunk. They are very professional looking. Fantastic job. He does look like a great guy. Looking forward to the next set with the instruments. Well done my friend.

Jake.

Great work Elephunk! Especially for your 1st Portraits.

Your photos really give you the feel of your friend. The "fine human being" shines through your shots. You made a good choice in photo site. The weathered boards are a great backdrop. Nicely done!
