Default Gorgeous Redhead!

This Red-bellied Woodpecker put on quite a show. I love the way his red shows in this light!

Cool shots , and you're right the red is quite unique and definately a highlight of the image , having never seen one other than in images like this they are quite an impressive looking bird , thanks for the opportunity to see one . All the best

Thanks for sharing! I like the first one with its tongue sticking out to whatever is in that basket (was that a basket?). Cool Pictures. I see you have super telephoto lens for the job.

Being just down the road from you, I am surprised that I don't see these around here. Of course, I don't live out in the country either where there might be a better chance of a sighting. You did a nice job here....I may post a cardinal tomorrow that I took in Louisville on Sunday. I chased that thing all over the place.

Thanks, Rick. It's a Sigma 55-200mm. Yes, I'm pleased with it. That's suet in the basket.
