Default kenilworth castle fascinating place

elizabeth 1 spent time here in 1566,72 and 75 with robert dudley earl of leicester(her court favourite) 19 days of elaborate festivities in 1575 apparently cost 1000 pounds a day!!these 19 days may they say have inspired shakespeares'a midsummers nights dream'

1st pic is the 'leicester building' where the queens apartments were.

i think the queen may have looked out these windows and perhaps have seen the same shadows.

third is the 'leicester building' and the norman keep.

Thanks for the history lesson....it makes it more personalized and interesting. The second shot is quite the compositional shot with all sorts of things in the frame to consider......very nicely done
