Perhaps I was breathing too much from the exhaust pipes

hmm.. cant see the picture.. is that what the "X" is for ....symbolising what your eyes looked like

Mate, you were definitely breathing too much from those exhaust pipes ... what did you do to the image? Inhaled that as well ?

Thankfully no, my welding mask is much darker than that! That's just a shield when i grind or use the chop saw as to not get nasty bits in my teeth

In my 20+ years as a Sheetmetal Mechanic, there are 2 things I have learned the hard way.

1) When grinding or cutting metal. Keep your mouth shut!!

2) Never weld while wearing old tore up jeans. Sure as the sun will rise, you either get a hot bead to find that little hole in your pants or you'll start your pants on fire!!

phew.. if that was your welding mask i could see th reason for the glazed eyes..


must just be the fumes..

i remember the days of being in the garage with petrol.. good times.
pitty it wasnt under a car tho'
