Let's hope that red and white thingy in not required this summer, and his fingers aren't crossed, so maybe he knows something that we don't. Here's hoping for a good un. Nice capture Beach. Is he using the brolly as a sun screen? Can't wait for the sun.

Jakester.

Nice photo, Beach. I have never been to that part of the world (yet), but is it usually rainy in the summer. My wife and I have been talking about going there for a while...one of these days!

Thanks Ian, this was last summer, an old Fuji P+S, but we quite liked the result, its a pity it didn't pick up the rain though, the rain that was considerable and persistent

thanks to you both

Thanks kxvet, its a beautiful country with a beautifully inconsistent and unpredictable climate, and you'd be welcome any time

You can pick up the rain on the red area (leaf?) of the umbrella .. I laughed because I imagined this is someone up street that you know, waving you off asking for a shot .. too absorbed in his book and shelter to accommodate you .. I really do like it bud .. it speaks "volumes"
