In the Road(சாலை ஓரம்)

I got a chance to talk with this old grandpa(www.flickr.com/photos/karthick/3482322541/). He was from a very big family. He has no child after his marriage. So he adopted a child. Struggled lot to bring up that child due to the child health problem. He spent a lakh for marriage. His Daughter-in-law throw him out of the house. His Wife also not kept him with them. His brothers also scolded that if he adopted a child from their family, it might not have this much problem.. He has tried for suicide. But unfortunately he escaped. Now he is in road. Doing some work for getting some money to feed himself !!




சாலை ஓரம் ஒரு பழுத்த பழம்...
ஆலமரம் சந்ததி இல்லாமல்..
தேடி பிடித்து விழுது வாங்கி..
உயிர் கொடுத்து வளர்த்து..
வந்து சேர்ந்த மரம்..
பழத்தை சாலையில் வீசி எரிந்தது..
துணையும் துணையில்லாமல்..
தனியே சாலையே துணையென்று உழழுது..
தன்னை மாய்க்க முயற்சி செய்து தோற்று..
மறு முயற்சிக்கு கயிறுடன்..
