Default Blue Heron take V

A little taste of what is to come......................I shot a ton of pics last night. It was totally nuts. Constant chatter from all the young waiting to be fed, and a huge flock of buzzards attracted by the dead fish smell I guess.
This is the only one i had time to process. I will keep posting a couple pics a day in this thread. Hope you enjoy them.

Steve

Wow, I have never seen young herons in the nest before. I'm looking forward to the rest.

Great job, expecially with the focus given all the surrounding branches. I've never seen a GBH nest, either.

Looking forward to seeing more of the series.

Great photo, it's a first for me. I've never seen Herons in the nest either. Thanks for sharing this.

I bow to your Heron mastery. Zowie! Here's my maxim: too many herons are never enough! (works with garlic and roses, too).

Spectacular set of photos. I especially like the first one; as far as color and composition goes, the only word that comes to my mind is "perfect."
