Hello Jiminy
Your shots are wonderful, and full of symbolism. I like the first two more that the rest. They are fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

Great titles for these beautiful photographs Jiminy. With your permission, I would like to use this set as a tribute to my mum who is no longer here. So thank you so much Jiminy. You made my day.
Jake.

Thanks, mainak_ch, jakethepig, and Fred flyfisher
When I spotted the egg shell this morning, it started the search for other shots that might fit into the theme of birth, motherhood, and the day's intention. Mom taught me appreciation for music and drawing and reading, so she's more responsible for who I am than anyone. If she were alive today, she'd love this website, no doubt. There was an odd coincidence in 1993 that cost her a longer life. Becoming more active in her small community, Mom sorted used clothing for a local charity. Often this clothing had been stored in attics or basements, where mice would nest and leave an infectious residue that causes a viral infection when breathed by a human, especially one of advanced age and weakened immunity. It took several weeks for doctors to cure the virus, after which she died from a staph infection. I do not blame the mice.

Glayva, Thanks
Song titles are fun to try to match to photographs. I hope there has been some improvement this year at least in my viewpoint, what I choose to shoot, and how I go about it. But it still feels entirely like a beginner's efforts. Still enjoying it all, though. mstark70, Thanks That's encouraging, the sort of thing Mom would say to keep me trying. It works, and I'm glad the egg shell was out in the lane this morning. I had not intended to do anything today. windrider86, Thanks As busy as your life is, it's a pleasure to think something I do could be inspirational. Hope it's a good kind.

Well, JC, I was unaware of having a little wall, protecting me against missing. Not that it's a bad thing but your photos have revealed a nostalgic place I was avoiding. Up from bygone days come two small children with Sunday School flowers presented to me after church, Usually carnations but sometimes roses. And my mom telling me to get my bangs out of my eyes. That persisted until she was 101. She was such a character. Thanks, JC. Remembering didn't hurt a bit.
