I watched him and wondered what he was thinking,
perhaps the only way to have fish tonight, would be to buy it

I connect with this photo on an emotional level. The slump of the shoulders and energy in his pace derived from the irritation of being blanked, is a recognizable emotion. Poor guy! You almost have the sense that the ducks are cutting a wide swath around him...sort of looking askance. Technically, I love the repeating pattern of his plaid shirt with the wrought iron bars of the railing, which, of course, serves as a wonderful frame. Nice shot, Beach.

He could of course, have Duck Sorry couldn't resist. You are certainly getting some mood into your photographs Beach. These two tell the story of a man who has clearly had enough for one day. Maybe this is the guy my son saw in the chippie A little bit of humour but a lot of seriously great photography. Nice ones buddy.

Jakester.

Thanks Lindy, I guess we've all been there at some stage. I can totally empathise with this chap because I fish.............. I fish, I don't always catch
And thanks for seeing the checked shirt;
thats what I saw and was trying to capture with him walking in between the squares of the railings, I think I got it

cheers beach

Hello Fred, I'm so glad you saw and commented on this one mate, I know you fish and anyone who fishes has blanked and knows that dejected feeling as they trudge back home.
Cheers Fred, tight lines
