Default If Everybody Had an Ocean....

Here are my parting shots of San Diego from last weekend. I love the opening line of "Surfin' USA" by the Beach Boys: "If everybody had an ocean...." I'm probably thinking this way because the temperature was 103 yesterday.

The last photo is a Coral Tree. You see them all over Southern California. These bright red blossoms are about the size of a hand.

Surfer Solitude

If everybody had an ocean....

Default feel flows

Patti Page and summer days on old Cape Cod, happy times making wine in my garage. Country shade and lemonade guess I'm slowing down. It's a turned back world with a local girl in a smaller town

Would San Diego count as a smaller town ? This is another wonderful summer collage, with a beautiful selection of pictures.
Unbending never ending tablets of time that brings back memories of the Beachboys, or Jan and Dean and cut off jeans.

I love that song too Lindy and I love your parting shot from your trip. So well presented and great views of the ocean and I see you have already started to introduce the flowers back. Well if they are there, they just have to be captured and you have done that so well. I am so glad that you are back around Lindy.

Jake.

Lindy these are just amazing. The pictures themselves are breath taking, but the way you put them together really takes the cake. I can almost feel the sand on my toes. And the tree is the most unuasual looking thing I have ever seen. Beautiful! Ri

Art Garfunkle has a sweet rendition of this song. It's playing as I write. I love the line: "now I'll fill your hand with kisses and a Tootsie Roll". Aw. That's so sweet. I hope my granddaughter finds a guy like that someday. Thanks for bringing back a sweet memory. Cut off's, of course, but did you wear huaraches? Thanks, Beach.

Getting the actual feel of a photo is one of impacts a photographer can only hope for. That you feel the sand on your toes, is just great! Rian, thank you for your kind words!

My husband I took a bike trip up thru Oregon and down the California Coast. I had never seen the sun set over the ocean and was left in awe.
Your pictures have left me with the same feeling!

Very nice Lindy... As always, very nicely presented. I can't wait to see your ranunculus farm... I have some of the far a few years ago. It's a fun place. It's so colorful your eyes go into overload.... Good job!
