Here are my parting shots of San Diego from last weekend. I love the opening line of "Surfin' USA" by the Beach Boys: "If everybody had an ocean...." I'm probably thinking this way because the temperature was 103 yesterday.
The last photo is a Coral Tree. You see them all over Southern California. These bright red blossoms are about the size of a hand. ![]() ![]()

Patti Page and summer days on old Cape Cod, happy times making wine in my garage. Country shade and lemonade guess I'm slowing down. It's a turned back world with a local girl in a smaller town
Would San Diego count as a smaller town ? This is another wonderful summer collage, with a beautiful selection of pictures. Unbending never ending tablets of time that brings back memories of the Beachboys, or Jan and Dean and cut off jeans. Surfs up Lindy ![]() beachcomber |

I love that song too Lindy and I love your parting shot from your trip. So well presented and great views of the ocean and I see you have already started to introduce the flowers back. Well if they are there, they just have to be captured and you have done that so well. I am so glad that you are back around Lindy.
Jake.

Lindy these are just amazing. The pictures themselves are breath taking, but the way you put them together really takes the cake. I can almost feel the sand on my toes. And the tree is the most unuasual looking thing I have ever seen. Beautiful! Ri

![]() Getting the actual feel of a photo is one of impacts a photographer can only hope for. That you feel the sand on your toes, is just great! Rian, thank you for your kind words!

My husband I took a bike trip up thru Oregon and down the California Coast. I had never seen the sun set over the ocean and was left in awe.
Your pictures have left me with the same feeling!
