Welcome to DPS !! What a great series of shots ! The one of the puffin is fantastic. Those little fish eyes really grab your attention. The details in all of them are very sharp.

First post but not a first timer with a camera. Very nice series I too like the first one best. They are all sharp and exposure is dead on. Welcome cant wait to see more.

Welcome to DPS Paul, you are clearly no novice. Your pictures are pin sharp, with great DoF, colouration and lighting, excellent work. I like your selection and look forward to further postings

thanks guys, puffins are one of those birds that I am sure, like to have their photo taken, they always assume a pose position when ever a camera is near

As an after thought, is it normal to pop exif data up as well?

Hey Paul , EXIF is only required in the critique sections as a must but with shots like yrs I'm sure people would be interested to see how you got such high quality shots no matter which section you post in All the best

Great shots..all of them. I love the puffin. We have quite a puffin population here in Maine and they are a lot of fun to watch. Keep up the good work.

Hello, Paul, and welcome to DPS. Seeing a Puffin is on my bucket list. I live in Arizona and haven't spotted one yet. Your photo helps affirm that wish. What a delightful fellow! Lately, I've been wondering. Can you see too many...sunsets...roses...benches....gulls. Nope, is my conclusion. My favorite is the cormorants. Seeing a couple work together is always a happy sight. Welcome. I look forward to your next post.
