Smile Lotus flower seeds - my first series

I went to a town where there are great lotus flower gardens. And besides the hundreds of photos of lotus flowers I took a lot of photos of the lotus plant after the petals fall of ...when the seeds or the seedpods are very visible. And I thought I should make a series out of it. I call it "Journey of a seed".

What do you think?

Thanks for your reply ... I was also quite surprized myself that the photos came out that sharp ...

On the other hand ... what do you think of the series? Do you think there is too much green in there? Should I have tried a different composition? Or do you think it's ok as it is?

Thanks,

Roxana

Hey Roxana , I think maybe the second one gets a little lost in the green but its not drastic , its always worth looking at whats behind yr shot at the time move around a little and see if you can contrast it a little against yr subject . Looking at the three there is a lot of green as a set so maybe there is a touch too much but sometimes you have no choice and is either that way or no way and I'd rather have the shot than not , but its something to think about next time yr out and about . Overall they are good images . All the best
