Default Mr & Mrs Roo with Junior

happened to have my camera on me whilst driving around at work and took this opportunistic shot from the car of a Red Kangaroo family munching on some grass beside the road. I didn't occur to me at the time but on queue the whole family stood up and posed for the picture, even the joey in mumma's pouch

Thanks for your comments. I work in western Queensland on the fringe of the real 'outback' I guess you could say. We get a lot of great native wildlife out here like kangaroo's, emu's, brolga's (took a snap of two the other day but was not a good pic), snakes, dingo's etc etc
I plan to upgrade to a DSLR for the first time shortly and am weighing up whether to go with the Canon EOS 450 or the Nikon D60. I love landscape photography and a fellow on here had some good points about Nikon being superior to Canon for wide shots and the choice of lenses etc. I am just a beginner so got lost in all the tech talk a bit.
So hopefully shortly I will get better with my shots and post you more of my part of the world.
