Default South Africa

Last week I was in South Africa for work, but of course, we made some time for site seeing. Here are a couple shots I took with my Nikon P90.

Fantastic, the big cats look so peaceful in the midday sun. That's one trip I plan on making once the kids have grown up and are off at school.

What a wonderful treat to see these beautiful animals, not behind bars, though I appreciate the work of zoos. They are so beautifully camoflauged.and adapted to their environment. I love the shot of the Cheeta. They often seem to have an air of disdain which I always find amusing. The little bit of green leaf adds interest to the zebra shot. The light on the lion's mane makes him seem so regal. You did a beautiful job with these photos.

The big cats were all so lazy. I just wanted to get out of the jeep and pet them I was really pleased with the pictures that this camera took. Now I know it will give me some great shops when I got to Barcelona in October.
