Here is another set of Kentucky sunsets. The first shot is what I might call a routine common sunset for our area...if any sunset can be called routine.

This one had alot of clouds down by the horizon and treatened to not materialize at all...A little patience and hope yielded great rewards as the sun peeked out for a moment or two.

No sun here, but a last stand of brilliant oranges before night falls

Amazing sunsets. The 2nd and 3rd ones are fabulous, the sky is all in bright orange and great composition.

The colours and silhouettes are so vibrant here Patrick. Kentucky sunsets are very nice and keeping you busy. Love the one with your daughters. Very nice set again Patrick.

these are beautiful shots and i simply love the second one because i know how tough you can get a shot like that when the sun sets a lot faster.

Thanks folks for stopping by......like many, I never tire of a sunset and they are beautiful everywhere.....but I still like ocean and mtn sunsets alot. In any case, I thought that I would show plain flat land sunset. They don't get enough credit sometimes. That ball of fire leaves its trail everywhere it goes!

Hi Patrick, I've missed commenting on several of your photos but I sure have enjoyed many of them. Your love for the out of doors and family is very close to home. These sunset shots are marvelous. I'm pretty partial to the silhouettes of the trees and your girls. There just doesn't seem to be a quota on how many sunsets one can enjoy in a lifetime. It feels hard wired for this kind of praise.
