Post Sunrise - Lihue, Hawaii

Runrise @ Lihue, Hawaii

I could call this my first Sunrise picture. I took it this morning about 5 mins walk from my hotel in Lihue, Hawaii. I wanted to sleep in, but I thought it's not everyday I am in Hawaii, and I shouldn't let the chance slip away.

There are a lot more pictures from this trip that are not yet processed, so...there will be more later. I want to share this one first with everybody here. Hope you like it. By the way, 8 hours of Wedding was very tiring last night. I am working on the wedding pictures right now, and I will share those later. :-)

Nice picture, great colours in the sky. Must be with your 10-22, with a slow shutter to produce the silky appearance of the waves.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Wow, beautiful shot! I love the feathered look to the water coming towards the camera. Most slowed-down water shots are shot from the side view, like a waterfall. This one is shot from straight on, very unique! Looks like the water is coming at you.

Awesome shot I'm sure you have a ton of great images there. I must admit Hawaii is where I will be going on my honeymoon if I ever get married. It's a requirement for me, future bride doesn't wanna go I'm not going to marry her. It's been a dream of mine since day one.

That is an absolute classic sopons! Beautifully captured. I bet you could sell that to the local tourist people!

Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you. It was with my 17-40 f/4. Not as wide, but I think I like the result more on this guy.

Hahaha...Thank you. I am glad you like it. I was waiting and waiting for the right moment to press the shutter. It was a bit difficult with 2 seconds timing. :-)

Yes, you should definitely come here. I don't know any girl who doesn't want to come to Hawaii. So, I think that requirement is pretty minimal.

I am getting up again tomorrow morning. It's my last day here, so I have to give it another try.

Thank you. I was going to as the hotel where I stay if they are interested in buying this image, because it's right on the beach next to it. They could use it for the ads.
