I'm still trying to figure out my D80. Took this on the way home from working the graveyard shift. This field will probably be gone a year from now as they intend on putting a highway extension through it.

hay bales at dawn

Took this during a sudden cloud burst outside my front step.

As a fellow grave shift warrior, these are outstanding. Love the field and the rain... too bad the field is going away.

I am also a graveshift worker. I like both shots.

One thing I love about working the grave shift is that you are up when the sun rises and can get some incredible shots on your way home. Way to go.

Thanks Fred.

The only benefit to working the graveyard is some of the fantastic sunrises you get to see. The unfortunate part is I'm usually dog tired and ready to kip so I rarely stop the car and get out to shoot.

There are some nesting geese however that are about to fall victim to me on Saturday morning.

Agree with you 100% on the second, unfortunately I was getting pished on and had no where covered to shoot from. My old man would call me soft.

Boy, I know what you mean about being dog tired on the way home in the morning. We do get to see some fantastic sunrises. I also like the fact there are no big wigs around. Good luck with the geese. Hope to see them on the forum.
