Up close and personal

Zoie 3 yrs old. She loves the camera and I love taking children's portrait type shots. I use 2 old DSLR'S and 1 P&S. I changed this shot to B&W. Just sharing. I am new to the site and just learning the ropes here.

Welcome aboard Kathylee. You will find this forum to be highly addictive and you will find all sorts of friendly people from all over the world to chat with. You obviously are entering the foray with alot of talent as your submission attests. Zoie's eyes are just crystal clear and the shot is beautifully rendered. Keep posting and take a look around at what other people are posting too. There is all sorts of stuff to look at and to admire....once again welcome aboard.......make sure you are aware of the rules of the forum if you are not already....it's all contained in the top post of Share your shots. I did not read it when I got started! You are right on track...look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thank-you for your nice comment. I will re-read therules of posting, so as not to make mistakes. I look forward to learning and sharing. Unfortunately, I work 12 hr shifts, and on days off go to my father's due to his ill health, so won't be able to spend the time I would like on the site. Will visit as often as possible.
