Default sea k1

sea k1

boat 3

sea k1 and other vessels wait patiently in the sun for the tide to rise in this narrow estuary near point of ayr

low water

second picture

This was taken at the same time and place, with sea k1 directly to my right, with the sun behind me, it gives you a feel for how steeply the estuary rose above the coastline, and how the colours varied so dramtically depending on where the sun was

I love how the boat is just sitting there, waiting for the tide to come in. Definitely something you don't see every day! Wonderful find, and wonderful photo, beach!

it looks like it is chomping at the bit to get out there, wanting to break free of its restraints. You can almost hear it calling .... here water, come on in tide, I gotta get sailing!

Hiya Beach, I'm amazed at the depth of tides in the UK... Another great shot buddy.

Good one Bud ! .. I really like the lines leading from the boat to the sides .. with the bright Sun and that space under the bridge is so dark this was not an easy exposure and I like intense contrast ... and your narrative and caption adds to feeling of nothing to do but wait and absorb the sun's warmth

Beach, I need this one in my office to remind me to be patient! Excellent use of that bright light, turning something thought ought to be a negative into an integral part of the picture.
