Default First Portraits

So who better to practice on than yourself for portraits? Just so we're clear, I hate being photographed but I decided that I better get over that because if I can't pose myself and pick good lighting and do good editing, how am I ever going to take good portraits of someone else? I took these with natural lighting because, well, I haven't invested in studio lighting yet, and I love the natural light anyway. I decided that with my husband's birthday coming up, I was going to put together a collage of these for him since the most recent picture he has of me was probably taken 5 or 6 years ago.
Here are a few of my favorites:

These are very nice, and you are beautiful. You did a great job here~ I am not brave enough to try this with myself yet. I think I will stick with my kids for now. Your hubby is gonna love them for sure!
