Let Boys play with Toys..

Mechanic....

From PRINT

From PRINT

Me and my friends frequent a juice shop every night around 12.30 am..

On this particular day at 12.45, when we were on our usual midnight walk, a nearby automobile workshop was closing for the day.

The sight of all those colours...the bikes ..the unkempt mechanics intrigued me and I was compelled to take their photographs .

First I took a candid shot...they noticed us...and joined in the fun...Then we took photographs in various poses, with different lighting each time..
This fun filled mid night shoot went on till 1.30

Suddenly the cops came into picture . They asked us what was going on and then asked us to pack up and go home.

We stopped the photo shoot..Then we had a nice chat with the mechanics .

We came to know that they have been running this shop for the last 20 years ..and that it is one of best service centers for Enfield Bullet Bikes...

They are experts at remodelling, engine fitting and a lot more...

We continued our chat till 2.30..

At last they told us that they don't have a name board for a shop!!

I have tried to give them a name with this image.

P.S. The Head mechanic has never worn shoes /chappals for the past 20 years inside his work shop...!!!

Like to share with u ..and shared.

Those are some great shots with a neat back story to go with them. Looks like you got a little camera shake in the last photo though. Do you have a tripod? I'd go back and ask them to take that shot again.
