Default My first decent moon shot

Finally got a fairly good picture of the moon. Wish the clouds around it would have shown up, but I'll take what I can get on this.

Wonderful! And I have to agree with the others...I love moon shots. Give me a moon any day over a sunset.

Shot it at 1/80 - F14 manual mode. 300mm lens plus cropped it to about double it's size.

Yep, sounds about right.....mine are very similar...thought about renting a BIG zoom lens for a nice moon shot.....maybe some day! great job getting what you can with what you have got.
