Default CD presentation Bl3nder

Bl3nder play a mixture of jazz and rap. The Bas van Lier Trio provides the music, whereas Def P (one of the world's best rappers) provides the vocals. A very cool combination! Their producer hired me to take some shots, and I thought it'd be nice to share a few with you.

The CD presentation was in the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, NL. It was quite dark, without any white lights on stage. The only lights they had were very saturated red, pink, blue and purple. Quite a challenge to shoot - they didn't want me to flash - and very rewarding

Jazz and Rap. Now that's an interesting combination. I'm gonna have to check them out later when I get home.

The pics came out good with the lighting available. Good job.

Regarding the noise: props to Noise Ninja Pro! Oh, and some creative curves work - most of the noise is in the dark areas, so I pulled it a bit towards black. The Canon 350D isn't known for its low noise levels, but this way I can keep things under control. All photos were shot at ISO 1600.
