Miss Impatient meets an Aspen
I am about the most impatient person I know. I always want things to happen on my timeline and am usually irritated when they don't. So, in order to learn patience, I am taking a photo a day of a bud on an aspen tree in my yard until the leaf appears. It better happen soon because I'm already getting cranky.

I feel your pain! I was so eager for Spring to get here I was photographing all kinds of buds myself. I hope it leafs out soon and doesn't turn into a 365 project! Great pictures, by the way....

Your Aspen tree is trying your patience Ftboah, but at the same time giving us all a treat of seeing your waiting game. Your captures and presentation of thes buds is awesome. Lovely detail. It's gonna be funny waiting with you. I think my patience will hold out but remember to leave some space for the funny on Friday. Lovely work Ftboah.

Deb - these are so clean and crisp - and so pleasant to look at - wow!!! .. what a clever idea to photograph the growth progress of this bud .. something new to look at each day .. now about being patience? - that's another story ..

Patience and the mulberry leaf become a silk robe. Patience is a bitter plant, but it has sweet fruit. Patience is a virtue. and this might apply Patience overtaxed turns to rage. I hope you succeed in your task and we all get to see the new leaf. |
