Default Pictures from California

I took these last year before getting my first DSLR, so they were taken with a point and shoot camera. They came out really good, but it's hard to make them look bad when the subject is so beautiful. The first is mirror lake at Yosemite National Park.

The second...Monterey Bay

The third...the Cypress Tree at Monterey Bay

Default pix from california

u just do not understimate the p&s, they were great when they were 1 to 2 MP and now 8-10 MP...ONLY PROSUMERS, I FIND DIFFICULT BECAUSE OF FOCUS DELAY AND SHUTTER-LAG.....my p&s d from kodak focused fast from even kodak's p880 or fuji s9500.
DSLR are in wonderful range particularly now those introduced with live view.
all 3 are well composed and exposed shots.

Good work. I especially like the one of Mirror Lake. I'd love to go there someday.

Great shots. I could spend months in Yosemite. I have ALOT of photos from there that I think are very nice and all taken with a Kodak P850 P&S.
