I see this as both a break like Hayward suggested and as a beginning. I know when I was in college, I got the drink, the snacks, laid out the books and set down the notebook. You drink, then you sigh, then you get to work! Great shot and very artistic. I like the simplicity of it! I'd like it even better if it had a pen laying on the paper to help break up the mass of white....the type of pen would go a long way towards suggesting what will be going on....fountain pen, ball point, mechanical pencil or crayon? Each would wildly change the mood and thoughts of the composition....food for thought!

I like being able to see the colors in the glass expessually the green from the lime in the Jack Daniel's/tea/whatever that is HAHA.
