Default Return of the close ups but no flowers+a KY sunset

I am continuing my short sabbatical on flower shots to bring you other items that might perhaps be of interest. The first and second shots are of a goose down feather caught in a dormant pine bush. I personally liked the detail of the down and the feather.

This is a simple old rusted and wet barb on a barbed wire fence at one of our local farms

There is no water, no ocean, no mountains, and no tropical or exotic locale to accentuate the beauty of the setting sun. Just a country sunset over a line of trees on one our local horse farms

Ya did it Patrick, nice sunset. You even got a nice yellow glow above the sun. Good job buddy. All of them are nice. I like the rusty barbed wire fence.

Your time away from fauna is being well spent I love the goose down shots. The second one almost looks like frost on the plant!

All of them are very nicely done

Patrick, these are excellent! I really love the 2nd one of the feather - great textures and contrast there. I look forward to your posts - it's fun to see what great idea you've come up with next!

Wow love those feathers Patrick. Lovely white and fluffy and so much detail. The barbed wire is also amazing so razor sharp (no pun intended). Oh go on then I meant it. And your sunset is gorgeous mate. The colours are so rich. Once again you come up with some excellent work. I always enjoy your great captures.

Jake.

I saw these on flickr and like the layouts especially in the first one. I half close my eyes and see a white tropical fish smimming through the brown weeds, although they're all very good as usual Patrick
