Not certain what type of flower this is. I planted two batches that a co-worker had given me when she thinned hers out. This didn't bloom last spring so this is the first time I'm seeing what it is. The other batch was Day Lily's that did bloom last summer.

So simple and yet so beautiful. Love the DoF and the detail is so clear and sharp. This is a lovely coloured flower and I am so glad that it bloomed for you at last.

Hi, that's a nice photograph.
There isn't much detail in order to exactly ID it, but me think this is an Iris sanguinea also commonly called Blood Iris. Might be wrong, though!
