Default Sunsets in Southern CA

Hey gang, here are some sunsets from around my home one from the beach at La Jolla and one in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. I suggest looking at them from Picassa to do them justice. Thanks for looking.

These were all taken with my Sony f-717 a few years back except for the last one which was shot with the Pentax K100D. There has been some PP work done. Mainly crop, straighten horizon and some saturation etc...

Thanks for any comments and or advice you may have.

Lovely photos Fred. I particularly like the first one, did you pay those birds to fly in just at the right time?

Beautiful shots, Fred. I like them all, but #2 might just be my favorite!

These are just beautiful Fred. I love the fiery skies but the first one does it for me. The coposition is supreme and the suns reflection on the lovely soft sky with the birds gathered to take in the beauty of it all. This is excellent work Fred. They are all great but just love the first one.

Jake.

Glad you enjoyed them Mike. The fiery sky was spectacular that evening. It was taken from my front yard.

Hi Teresa, I'm happy that you enjoyed the photos. The first one almost does have a calming effect. Sometimes I can even hear the waves on the shore... Thanks again.
