Default First moon shot.

I thought i would give it a try, after seeing the nice moon shots posted here(can't remember who posted them). So here is my version of the moon.................

Are those footprints I can see. Excellent first try. The detail is amazing. Fantastic job Prime.

Thank's mfreg, I was using a canon 300 f/4 L + 1.4TC, manual mode, on a tripod.

Prime, that's a good 'un! Judging by your picture I think the moon is bigger where you live. Thanks for sharing.

That's a really good shot - love the contrast and that lens performs really well - I like it.

Thank's longsighted, I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone wanting to buy one. It is a little slow focusing with the 1.4TC, but the only alternative is $3000 more for a f/2.8. It helps to get the focus close manually and then hit the shutter, but it isn't really that bad. The image quality is excellent though.
