![]() ![]() ![]() Three shots recently taken in the aftermath of Victoria's Kinglake Bushfires. Was a very emotional afternoon looking at the devestation and I had mixed feelings about taking my camera out, but in the end I felt that the devestation needed to be recorded. Hope I made the correct decision.

I feel you did make the right decision to get your camera out. They are not horrible graphic pictures with yucky stuff - I feel they are tastefully done considering the horrific tragedy that happened. They do what I am sure you intended - to tell the story of devastation and tragedy, which is something that needs to be told.

Thanks for the reassurance.
There is no HDR involved - I was just playing around with a lomo effect. Am hoping to get up to Marysville in the next couple of days to take some shots of that area, also devestated by the fires. Will include them in this thread also if I get some worth showing.
