I spotted this guy's (gal's) head shinning in the sun, took a shot with each step closer and this is the closest cropped result.

I do not know how big they will get, this one was close to five feet long. I had one quick look at his body as he jumed into the water. The biggest I have seen and verified was a little over six feet long. Six feet I am certain of as some kids had caught it and I measure it. There are stories of much larger ones, but I have never seen one.

^^^ It's crazy how pictures can tell a story, but most of the time something is left out. You shot makes the lizard look like a 1 footer, not a 5 footer. Thanks for sharing and replying
