A beautiful place to relax, a place with line, shape and form. The sun dapples through the roof to form a chess board of shadows on the floor, the view through the rest area and along pathway to......
......perhaps to a grassed area with the plant beheind the rock. Simple and effective and it needs to be nothing more because we're interested in what is behind the rock and the plant, perhaps its a rest area with line, shape and form
Excellent work as always Hayward

Hayward, a pleasing place and you've chosen an interesting perspective to show it off. It should be pleasing to all. The canopy is tailored with straight lines and right angles for the male and below it are the curves in the arches and the benches and the tables for the female. A complete design and well captured.

very nice study of lines and shadows Haywood .. really like the point of view and the framing.. quite interesting to look at

I love the rock shelf in the second .. makes the plant seems even more hardy " growing on a rock ", nice texture mx -rock and plant ..Like them both, thanks for showing them hay !

hello Hayward...
these are interesting perspectives...
well as for me... this is the magic of photography...
I belive many peoples in this area have seen this for so many times and they've only see this for what it is.. in this case, a rock, a tree and usual architecture...
but you create such an interesting ways to appreciate the beauty of this usual place with only the matter of changing the angle from your creative views...
sound simple but only the great, creative and sensitive eyes can spot and reaveal them to be such a uniqe and wonderfull photographs...
thanks for sharing !

Hayward my friend. This is an excellent set. You really have an eye for the most beautiful of photographs. You have to love the lines and shadows in the first one and the simplicity of the bush growing from behind the rock and the last one as you say, a great photo op. and you took the opportunity well. I like that you have the trees in the top of the shot.
Another great set from the eye of the master.

Jake

Your photos are great. I enjoy seeing things from a master's point of view.
