Cool Arab cliche Burj Al Arab, Sheikh Zayed Road night traffic

Hello everybody. Finally decided to upload some pictures.

This is my first post here and my first ever purposely made pictures (I am a big time newbie in photography, so please keep your tomatoes, eggs, and shoes with you, don't through everything towards me for now). I saw many photos of the same type made by PROs and they inspired me, so this is my attempt. I like long exposure and I like evening and night photography. So these are what my first pictures look like.

With the picture of a traffic I wanted to express the 24-hour-busyness of roads in my town Dubai. I wanted to show the lines, the light...

The pictures of the most famous and expensive hotel in the world (Burj Al Arab) is the most popular among tourists object to take photos of. While it was changing colors I was trying to express how warm, beautiful and charming it is.

PS: since it is "share your shots section" the only critique I would like to get is if I posted everything right, didnt brake any rulez etc.

Question picture SIZE

I changed the size of the pictures to 800 on the longest side, uploaded pictures to photobucket and then copied the links and pasted them here, but the pictures seem quite big now, or it is normal?

Actually what Dubai and UAE is famous for is all fake! Most of people do know about the most expensive hotels, malls, tallest buildings etc, but dont know the details of real Arab world here. and YES it is wonderful! will take an attempt to introduce guys here to this world, as I see it. Just need some more practice with my photos)
