[Glayva]

This is one of 300+ shots I took on Saturday night at our town's annual fashion show. I did not find it easy and I have to say that i am a little disappointed with my results. Can't quite put my finger on exactly what's wrong, but I'm not as happy with this years images as I was last years. The most important thing is that my client is "over the moon". I think I'm getting too much of a perfectionist.

Sometimes we are our harshest critiques. As long as the client is happy, you are doing something right.

And, for what little it is worth, I think fashion shows would have to be one of the most difficult things to shoot. You have very little control over anything involved.

Lovely models, great colours and an excellent composition of this image. I don't know what you are doing wrong glayva only being too hard on yourself. I think that you have done an excellent job my friend, but most of all so does your client. Very nice work glayva. You did well.

The setting is wonderful and girls look gorgeous and I guess like most of these events, behind the scenes is controlled chaos. You certainly have an embarrassment of riches here, and your picture is stunning.
You never fail to impress with your work whether its pictures of young men or young women, or you doing a Mission Imposible hanging over cliffs or capturing this bevy of beauties.

I read once that perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
Are you too much of a perfectionist ? maybe you are Glayva my friend.
