Default Whittington Castle in Hdr

Something I havent done for ages... a HDR. Was going to go to Oulton Park today for some serious motorbike racing, but the weather was not on my side. So I thought I play a bit in photoshop. I havent done a HDR for some time but thought I get back into the routine of it. I seen some totally awesome stuff done in HDR lately that I just had to get back into it.

Whittington Castle is just up the road from me, this is just fantastic. the path over the little bridge is just inviting you into the shot, great stuff. Its hard to get a nice shot of the castle as its so close to the road, believe me I have tried. I take it that you took this one of the pavement. Great perspective. Not many people like HDR but I tell you what it really does this shot justice. Fantastic work mate, thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot Tryfan. I am not much of a HDR fan myself to tell you the truth, but it seems to be the latest rage at the moment so I thought I go with the times lol. Besides.. love fiddling with new stuff. You are right.. its really hard to get a good shot in this location.. either the road is in the shot, or the modern building in the back, or even people lol. At this instance I was actually standing on the bridge. I used my 10-20mm, so I can get rather close to even a building and still get it all in. Made it all a bit easier. xx
