Default My Search for Spring

We got dusted again with snow both evenings this weekend but I was determined to find spring. This is the snow melting off the roof during the morning and hitting the porch railing.

Over the last few weeks, I have seen spring flowers and I have posted some, spring bunny rabbits and I have poste some and spring ducklings and I have posted some, while yourself Ftboah bring us only the misery that only the snow can bring grounding your horses and the cat. That is till NOW. This is spring at its very best when you have had so much of the white stuff. This is winter turning into spring before our very eyes. I have seen many water drops but never when it is water drops depicting the beauty of the change of seasons. These captures are simply amazing and you should be very proud of them. And you say I have learned quickly. Thank you for sharing the start of your spring. I hope it lasts.

Jake

Hello ftboah, the diversity of your weather seems amazing, although surely by now you would have expected the climate to have warmed up, and the spring flowers to be out in abundance.
In any event, what is clear, is that you deal with these inconveniences, you never complain, and in spite of the cold and the snow you create both the Friday funny, and outstanding pictures like these.
Thank you, you always produce excellent work

What a great amount of patience you must have to get shots like these. Getting that drop exploding on the rail couldn't have been easy. I'm looking forward to Spring busting out in the mountains so we can see your perspective on its beauty and celebrate its arrival with you.

Jake, Spring and summer are very short @ 9200 ft. But I sure enjoy it while it's here

Jack, If you don't find ways to entertain yourself, you get cabin fever. I hear it is very, very bad.

Thanks, rohansule. Just so you know, it was nothing to do with skill and basically just luck of the click.

Beach, As long as you keep posting photos of boats on the beach, I'll stay warm until summer gets here. Actually, I have the best of two worlds. I work in Denver which is @ 5280 ft and where spring and summer come at about normal times. I then travel west for an hour, climb 4000 more ft and go back to completely different world. I sure like it when Denver is in the 90's and I go come to the low 80's

A-O, I tried to time them with no success at all. I then turned continuous shooting on and hoped for the best

I think it is just around the corner Mike. I am watching the Aspens very close right now.

Teedle, the snow in May never sticks around. Just so we don't get another dumper. A few years ago we got 12" on Mothers Day. Really ruined our picnic.
