Default First good Lilly shot

So I've been trying to figure out how to make my shots a little more artsy, and this is one I got with a lily.

Lilly

Camera: Canon EOS 40D
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 85 mm
ISO Speed: 400

Edited in Picasa.

Thanks everyone.

The photo was taken on an overcast day with the sun in the final two hours before setting. I edited it in Picasa 3, and the only thing I adjusted was the shadows tab to about 50%. I played with the percentage until the petals were just starting to darken. Any less the background was visible, and more the petals disappear.
