Default my feathered friend

Hi all
Got the chance to go to our local lake today, so decided to capture some of the swans that live there, I was suprised how close I was able to get to them.
These are all SOOC with no PP whatsoever.
Enjoy.

Thanks for looking.

Glyn

Great shots. White birds are a difficult to capture (at least for me) without blowing the exposure but these are right on the mark.

Your detailed capture of these swans is incredible Glyn. The first one is such a gem. lovely backward pose for the second and I see he had a little drink just so that he could spill a little for you to capture the perfectly focused droplet from his mouth. This is great work Glyn my friend.

Glyn - this is what I'm talking about .. it pays to accurately adjust camera settings to start off with .. final results - no post processing needed .. extremely well captured

Very well done Gyn ( nice to see you again )

Having taken hundreds of swans I am quite impressed on these .. Sooc and so well balanced ... I tip my hat to you sir .. they are outstanding

your focus in the 1st is excellent.
great feather details in the second, from a side not often photographed !
love the S shape of the neck in the 3rd
and the captured water drop falling and the eye reflection show a really nice curved headshot.

I love shooting them, I see tons from others, I can say with some knowledge, these are very good and for sooc they are outstanding,, quite impressive actually,

thanks very much for showing them

Vin
