Default Before the storm

I took these shots of my daughter right before a storm the other day. I ended up running home in the rain trying to "save" my camera..lol I think I overprocessed most of these but I'm too lazy to go back and redo them.

Awwww, she just looks like a little fairy casting her magical spell over the countryside. Lovely colour of pink blending with the grass and the sky. You have a lovely daughter and I hope you didn't get wet before the storm came. Very nice work Ruthie.

Jake.

Thanks Jake We did end up getting soaked on the way home but I managed to save the camera so that's the important thing, lol

Hi Ruthie~ I always look so forward to seeing what you will post next and of course these do not disappoint. I love the fairy tale feel to these. It just feels like she is in this mystical and magical land all her own. Your locations, your subject (your gorgeous little girl), your fantastic eye for photography coupled with your awesome skills in camera and edit work all add up to some fabulously fantastic images. You could totally make a beautiful story book with these pictures and a great magical tale.
Awesome one and all but I think I especially love #1 and #4 the most!

P.S. How funny, I wrote this before I went back and read what Angeleyes also wrote about the story. So that's at least two of us that feel the same way!

a true trooper - taking photos right up to the first rain drop...that's determination .. the overcast sky is a perfect backdrop for your daughter .. these are extremely well photographed considering the situation .. way to go
