Talking Canon 100mm F2.8 Macro Pictures

A coworker of mine was nice enough to let me borrow his 100mm F2.8 macro lens. Here are some shots I have taken with this lens so far this weekend. I must say I love this lens and it's a must have for me now. Too bad the botanical gardens here do not have any flower displays ready yet. I will have to borrow this lens again in another month or so to get some great flower shots. I may try doing so more macro work tonight but, I have a lot of errands to do so I may not get around to it.

Hi there,
I am surprised that I am the first to say anything about these fantastic images!! the one of the eye is cracking and just on your beautiful images alone I have now been looking at the cost of this lens. I cant get over how sharp they are. You should be really proud of the beautiful images, I would be. Thanks for sharing them. I always knew I would get into trouble looking at these shots!!!

These are fantastic! I love the eye! So cool and such great sharp detail in all. I want that lens now. Looks like a fun one to have.

I love the eye - is it your cat's? The last pic is also great, except I think I see the pollen, which is now going to make me sneeze.
