Mario on the down and out

Here are a couple of shots from my latest school assignment. I thought it would be fun to take a happy videogame character such as Mario and put him in dirty, depressing situations. I hope everyone enjoys them!

That first one is excellent! the composition is really good, and the desaturation etc does wonders for the feeling of the photo. I do think the moustache is a bit untidily done, but I don't fault your photography!

Thanks for the comment. The first one is my favorite too, I just really liked how it turned out. I sort of wanted the mustache to look really ridiculous so he would look really out of place in these situations. I guess it could have been done a little nicer though

I'm glad to see you all like the pictures. I don't know what my grade for the project is yet. My critique isn't until Wednesday, but I will let you know when I find out

Very creative idea. The lighting and feeling of the shots is great. I am sure your critique will go very well.
