Exclamation Lenses

Can anyone help with advice on a 2nd lens I have a canon 1000d and a 18-55 lens

What do yo want to take pictures of? WHy do you want a second lens?

If you can answer the question Why you need a new lens.. You will have your answer..

Also, you should have posted the question in the proper section and not in this one..

I own the same camera and just bought a new len, the PROMASTER 70mm - 300mm with macro.

I would recommend this lens. I was buying it for the zoom lens, and found out i also love the macro feature just as much! It has auto and manual focus. I am unsure on the exact specs of it, you could probably google it.

It is definitely worth it. It has the zoom and macro on it! Very crisp clear photos as well

Get yourself a good fast single focal prime for landscape and indoor shots. Something like f/1.4 55mm

Short answer: EF-S 55-250 IS or the EF 50mm f/1.8 II. Seriously, 90% of the time, this is right.

Long answer: what do you want to shoot that the 18-55 won't get you? And how much do you have to spend?
