Talking Aww.. Isn't she cute?

Hello Everyone!

I recently bought a new prime lens for my camera (Nikkor 50mm/1.8) and I’ve been having a blast with it.

Anyways, a couple of days ago, my house was graced with the presence of the most beautiful girl on earth. I could not miss this opportunity to shoot a few pics with my new lens. She was more than happy to co-operate and pose for me. All of the poses were of her own accord, I did not give any instructions. Judging by the way she was posing, she did not need any. I guess she’s a natural!

Honestly, I feel that this set of photos are the best portraits I’ve shot so far with my camera. That being said, this time it was really hard for me to choose one shot as the best of the shoot.
This time, it’s a three way tie among these photos:

Sam's Second Shoot

Sam's Second Shoot

Sam's Second Shoot

I love just the hint of a smile in the first one with her eyes telling the rest.

Nope, no flash... That was on a bed in a room with a window right next to it. I was lying the floor on my back with the camera pointed at the edge of the bed.

Great shots - I just got that same lens as a gift, I'm going to have to experiment with it today!

You have no idea how much fun shooting with a prime lens is. After getting the 50 mm prime, the kit lens has stayed in the bag for 2 months.
