Default a soldiers burden

I took this shot a few weeks ago on a flight to a camp i was headed to in Iraq. The lighting we had in the plane during flight added this mood to the troops and the other coalition forces on board. It is a bit depressing being in the service getting called up for duty getting pulled away from family and friends, having experience being a soldier before and deployed.
After capturing a photo like this make me want to be a photo journalist.
hope ya'll enjoy!

Inside a military aircraft

Thanks for sharing this photograph with us ausnap. I commend you for what you do and this image from the airplane going to the front line as it happened makes it all the more interesting. I think I can say that we are all with your at this time. All the best to you and your colleagues and keep up the great work that you all do.

Jake

I like your photo for 2 reasons. First, it captures the mood in the aircraft and two, it tells a poignant story. My hat's off to you and my prayers are with you and your colleagues. Thank you for all you have and continue to do in the cause of freedom.

Very nicely done. To me, that the faces are all in shadow adds a lot to the mood.

Thanks for posting, and thank you for all that you do.

Wow there's such a huge amount of 'mood' and emotion in that shot - and its SO interesting to be let behind the scenes like that! I would really love to see more work like this...

And we think flying coach is rough. Photos of our troops are always appreciated by me. Many of us don't realize just what many of our boys are dealing with.

Thank you for your service and please stay safe.

haha, i didn't actually think of comparing it to coach standards but i'll tell ya its not a real comfortable ride considering a net is your back rest.
I appreciate all the kind comments and support. I'm pretty sure that the troops out here i help support does as well too. I'll post some more photos like this up when my camera captures it.
